“ Exceptional food, outstanding service, incredible views!! Fine Italian cuisine at its best! We are so glad we found this wonderful spot. We happened upon this beautiful place after reading the reviews. Even still, we could not have been prepared for the experience we had. Wow! Every bite of food, every sip of drink was just out of this world. We loved it so much, in fact, that we ate there two nights in a row. The drinks we had: limoncello spritzer, Negroni spagliotto, Venturo spritzer, and lots of vini! (All well-paired with the food, great recommendations from the wait staff and the chef.) The food we ordered: sea bass, salmon trout, filete, mushrooms crepe, mushroom fettuccine, eggplant handkerchief pasta, frutti di mare, zucchini salad. We were surprised by their welcoming dish, the most delicious carrot soup. Then incredible breads. It was hard to not fill up on the breads because they were so good. Potions were perfect. Every bite was better than the bite before. We had zero room for dessert after our dinners, but had to go for it anyway! We tried three: the apricot and cake, the berry and pistachio crepe, and the tiramisu. Absolutely scrumptious. Best food in Italy, by far. I know we will spend the rest of our trip comparing the meals to Vista Lago. We will return here the next time we are in Italy, for sure!! You can drive to the restaurant with some skilled maneuvering. It’s part of the experience!!! Or you can park down in the village and enjoy the walk up through the winding little streets. It’s a hike, but it made me feel like I earned my dinner. Also, get there before sunset to enjoy the breathtaking views. Before leaving, make it a point to meet the owners, Denise and Judy. Their stories of how they came to open a restaurant will blow you away. ”

“ Great evening with wonderful food, lovely people and an amazing view. Most tender beef, „with truffles“. I would have thought they‘d be freshly grated on top of the beef. It was a lovely truffle butter though, which was delicious. Fabulous deserts, great wine. ”

“ This was our second time dining at Vista Lago, a gem with the most beautiful view of the lake and a creative, delicious cuisine. We were dazzled by the wine selection and staff expertise and enjoyed an aperitivi as the sunset before enjoying a delightful summer salad with tuna and fennel. Chef Denise’s ragù is a beautiful offering, supremely warm and savory, she offers a unique take on a classic that you cannot miss. The secondis were cooked very well and we were very impressed by the grilled meats and fish we ordered. The desserts are beautifully presented and full of excitement and delicious combinations, there is something for everyone’s sweet tooth. Vista Lago should be on your Lago di Garda itinerary. “ Wow. Just wow. If you are anywhere near the east shore of Lake Garda you must find this gem of a restaurant. We had such an amazing dinner last night, we had to come back again tonight to try the dishes we couldn’t fit in yesterday. Denise Pardini has taken some of the simplest ingredients and created true masterpieces on every plate. My wife could not stop talking about the zucchini starter - I mean seriously, it’s a zucchini! But in the hands of Denise it becomes a sublime masterpiece. The seafood is beyond description. As a Texan I thought I’ve had great steak, but the perfectly cooked black Angus strip with the sauce built on a three-day short rib stock base with cognac and other flavor made the beef unforgettable. And the desserts - oh my, the desserts! We will literally be back again one more time just to try the ones we missed! ”
